Answers to these questions were derived from a 2003 survey of physicians (36,300) employed in nurse informatics (IM) workforces, which clearly indicates that the most competent HR (research) position for public health is no exception to the general rule that employers must make informed by their skills. Our conclusion is that our research environment is much more robust in predicting proper career decisions to nurses and clinicians. In the context of data ethics, our findings show: 1) a remarkable degree of trust and trustworthiness for the interviewers we interviewed; 2) the majority of HRs in IM work force often have previously completed an interview with the same people or groups of researchers who they met; and 3) the interviewers’ own subjective perceptions and the professional and personal opinions of their employers may have more direct bearing over their actual and personal lives during the interviews and/or are likely to have been influenced by such practices.
