What is the role of sustainable urban planning in reducing urban sprawl and congestion? This article provides a thorough test of both global urban sprawl as well as the impacts of growing urban planning in favour of sustainable urban planning, especially in Southern England and Great Britain, setting out the challenge of achieving either as a sustainable solution or as a time-saving solution regardless of traffic pattern.
