To solve the many challenges associated with the study of group dynamics, decision-making on which models of organization, decision-making processes, and their interaction are based, many groups and their managers have produced various sets of models or tools and methods for applying and using those models and tools to organizational decision-making processes. This article discusses some of these topics in the context of decision-making and research. This article addresses the following questions: (a) What are the structural/distributive advantages of managers in power and information power? Why must a manager have strong power and why are those perceptions the only ones that matter? (b) How can someone do my exam managers in power work relative to their power and information power?
